About StardewTools
We build the planning tools we kept wanting during our own farms: exact profit math, honest assumptions, and no sign-up walls between you and your gold-per-day answer.
Why this site exists
Stardew profit questions have precise answers, a crop's gold per day is arithmetic once you know its prices, growth and processing options, but the answers are scattered across spreadsheets, old forum posts and calculators that skip the details (no artisan processing, no "days I have left" mode, no quality math). StardewTools puts the full calculation in one place, with the source of every number documented.
How the tools are built & tested
- Data from the official wiki. Crop prices, growth times, processing multipliers and animal data are compiled from stardewvalleywiki.com tables and cross-checked; the compile notes live on the methodology page.
- Math with tests. Every formula has hand-verified test cases that must pass before deploy.
- Client-side only. No uploads, no accounts, nothing tracked.
- Corrections welcome. If a number is wrong (or a 1.6+ patch changed it), tell us and we fix it with a changelog entry.
How the site makes money
Right now: nothing. StardewTools is independent and self-funded. If we ever add sponsorships or
affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled (rel="sponsored") and never affect
recommendations. Tools stay free.
Who runs it
A small crew of long-time Stardew players and software engineers. We have strong opinions about greenhouse layouts and will share them if asked.
